Nursing Department to Induct First Class of Honor Students The Nursing department is fulfilling its journey to bring scholarship, research and ultimately stature to National University. It has long been the goal for Nursing at NU to preside over its own chapter of the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society nursing. The journey begins when Nursing develops and implements a student nurses honor society . By following closely the bylaws and guidance of STTI headquarters we must maintain a full honor society for one year before requesting chapter status. We began this process in February and will be welcoming our first group of inductees in the honor society this Friday, June 29 th . The inductees consist of students who have achieved at least a 3.00 GPA as well as demonstrated a commitment to community, academic excellence and nursing scholarship.
