The application for the White House Internship Program's spring 2012 session has been posted. Please take the time to think of five future young leaders you believe would serve as great White House Interns, and personally encourage them to apply. The National University Library launched a pilot project through the Center of Excellence that created an opportunity for the librarians to host student research fellows. 2018 Planetree Conference Featured SHHS Faculty, Staff & Students!

Dozens of faculty, students and staff presented their latest person-centered healthcare research at the 2018 Planetree Conference in Boston last month. The Planetree organization was founded 40 years ago as a patient-centered care revolution when Angie Thieriot demanded on behalf of all patients that healthcare organizations meet individuals’ human need for respect, control and warm and supportive care. National University was front and center with a booth at the conference and several presentations and posters. The School of Health and Services ( SHHS ) showcased its programs as the world’s only Planetree certified University ! SHHS students assisted with the conference sessions and presented posters on Person Centered and student driven student committees . The event week featured an all SHHS dinner at the Copley Center hosted by Dean Dr. Gloria McNeal that celebrated all our hard work and success at the conference.
